The purpose and mission for Banks Academy is to train and educate students with excellence in the East Lake/Roebuck community of Birmingham, Alabama by establishing a private Christian school.
Banks Academy, Inc., is a new private Christian High School located in the East Lake community of Birmingham, Alabama. The school opened in August of 2015 and is holding classes at the original Lakewood Baptist Church’s building. The address for the school is 8301 8th Avenue South. The new High School began in 2015 with 9th Grade students and will have both 9th and 10th grades for the 2016/2017 school year. Each a grade will be added until all high school grades are established.
